Following the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, commercial flights will start to resume at 12:00pm today, and we’re so happy to welcome our travelers once again into our airport. ✈️
We go on to the joy and through the tears as we say goodbye to an attractions staple that has illuminated the sky and united nations throughout the years. Farewell, Illuminations. 🎆
A sight that is still incredible even after 36 years. Today is the anniversary of the historic simultaneous dual landing of Air France & British Airways Concorde aircraft at MCO. The event commemorated the opening of the France and UK Pavilions in the World Showcase at Epcot.
And now, the moment you've all been waiting for: the amazing...the colossal...the stupendous...the eighth wonder of the world...
...the back side of water. #WindowSeatWednesday

Whew boy! Hottest 4th of July we've seen in years! Crack open the sarsaparilla (sorry, we forgot - we're drinking root beer now!) and have a happy 4th of July, everyone! 🇺🇸
Congrats @Arsenal, winner of this year’s @FC_series. ⚽️ The team have made their way back to England ahead of their '22-'23 season @premierleague! It was a pleasure to welcome all teams & participants of the #FCSeries - we'd say this one was a real W.
MCO K-9 Palmer's last day at MCO was on May 31 but don't you worry, she's living her best life in retirement. She sent these pictures and said she's enjoying lots of naps, treats and time in the pool. Thanks for rubbing it in, Palmer.
37 years later and still a sight to behold. This month celebrates the anniversary of the historic simultaneous dual Concorde landing at MCO. The event featuring Air France & British Airways commemorated the opening of the France & UK Pavilions at EPCOT's World Showcase in 1982.
With the immediate retirement of @VirginAtlantic Boeing 747 fleet, we bid farewell to those royal visits. It was always a pleasure seeing 5 of them together by their gates during our busiest times. 👑✈️

She may not look like much but she's got it where it counts! @VirginAtlantic's newly-wrapped 747 landed at MCO today after its first flight. The new livery highlights Star Wars #GalaxysEdge and is appropriately named "The Falcon".
On 4/27/17, Lauren's flight was delayed. While grabbing a ☕️ in the @JetBlue area of MCO, she met Rob. A conversation sparked. ⏩ to this month, while on their way to the Bahamas for Rob’s birthday, they grabbed ☕️ again. This time, Rob proposed in the same spot they met. 💑
That’s so Florida! Pilots of a Spirit flight departing MCO today had to pause on the taxiway and give right of way to a local resident out for a morning stroll. Passengers caught a rare glimpse of an alligator trudging from one pond to the next. 🐊
TODAY’S SPECIAL VISITOR: @British_Airways A380!! 🤩 This big boy was diverted to our airport (due to weather at MIA) for a quick refuel. This was the first time that our Terminal C received an A380 aircraft on the ramp. Come back anytime, Superjumbo Speedbird. 🙌
Just as we are committed to the safety & well-being of everyone at our airport, we ask for your commitment practicing proper hygiene. If you’re tired of singing “Happy Birthday” while washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, you can also try reciting the following:
Welcome, Mademoiselle Rouge! ❤ @VirginAtlantic’s flight from @manairport was the first to touchdown from the UK today, after over 600 days since the US closed its borders.
Your airport's departing views may be decent, but do they include a geodesic sphere that highlights how advancements in human communication have helped to create the future one step at a time? We think not.
Found her! We went out to the gate to personally deliver the bag of MCO goodies and with the last-minute help of @OfficiallyMadii, we were able to make her departure even more personal. A heartwarming and tearful end to #MadisMomSaga. Safe travels, mom!
