Last year, he said of Trump v. Biden: "If forced between them, I would do what I usually do, and vote against the incumbent…I support the foreign and domestic policies under Trump more than Biden’s." (2/2)
Let me go ahead and cost me some followers 😂:
I don’t want either Biden or Trump to win. If forced between them, I would do what I usually do, and vote against the incumbent. In the past I’ve called myself a conservative Democrat, or a liberal Republican, and, of course, an independent. I’m not a libertarian per se but have libertarian viewpoints. I truly believe in freedom and capitalism. Our country is getting further away from both.
For ex, I supported gay marriage BEFORE Biden, Obama, Clinton etc. As long as it involves two consenting adults why the hell would I care who people love and marry. I’m pro choice but believe there is a stage in a woman’s pregnancy that abortion should not be allowed, unless to protect the life of the mother. I believe in the 2nd amendment and a person’s right to own guns but believe in reasonable background checks. In 2016 I voted for John Kasich because I could never vote for Hilary and Trump calling McCain not a hero because he got caught (shot down, broke his collarbone, arm and leg, and then tortured was more like it, along with giving up the right to leave the POW camp early unless those captured earlier than him could leave as well), as well as the other things about Trump, caused me to lose my initial support for the man.
In the end, I usually vote against the incumbent because they usually didn’t do what they said would. Bush, Obama, Trump and Biden recklessly raised the national debt. Trump talked about curbing spending, then printed trillions. Biden took it to even a new level. Bush would’ve bailed out the banks, as did Obama, so would Trump, so would Biden. Once in, they all seem to support corporate socialism, not true capitalism.
Trump sure as shit didn’t drain the swamp and Biden as been part of the swamp for half a century.
In the end, I don’t see a huge difference between the two parties once in power.
I support the foreign and domestic policies under Trump, more than Biden’s. But when half the country thinks the man should be in jail, right or wrong, it only means another 4 years of chaos and division. If we don’t come together and find common ground, this great experiment of ours will fail and we are headed toward something very bad.
Objectively speaking, we need new, younger out of the box thinkers, to lead our country. But, with that said, I will vote, as usual, against the incumbent.
