Art is love 🫶🏻 UnderTheGAN - early AI art collection deca.art/UnderTheGAN/UnderTh… opensea.io/UnderTheGAN/galle… The Doomed DAO

Dear Artist! Here is my small gift to you 🙏 I can only imagine how beautiful - and at times challenging - your journey must be. Over the past few years I’ve been blessed to collect more than 1000 wonderful works from artists like you and have learned a bit along the way. In a small sense I think I understand both the beauty and the struggle. To offer something from my heart I’ve put together 20 points - non-obvious topics you may encounter, along with my thoughts on each. It’s subjective and imperfect - but I hope you’ll find it helpful and inspiring. 1. As an artist you put your heart and soul into your art. Who takes care of it matters far more than short-term monetary value. 2. Mint only when you are truly proud of your work. Treat every minted piece as an exhibition. Every work can be shown - not necessarily minted. 3. Your art can remain in your possession for years and still be incredibly valuable. They just don’t know it yet. 4. In art there’s no such thing as too much supply - only too little demand. Don’t worry about demand as long as you're truly proud of what you release. 5. Your integrity is above everything else. Thoughtless short-term gains can lead to long-term difficulties. 6. Don’t focus too much on the "market" or money - and there’s a good chance you’ll end up with more of it than you ever imagined. 7. A few passionate collectors are worth more than a thousand flippers. Feel free to revisit the first point. 8. It's better not to ask anyone to buy your art. Just share your joy and passion - the right collectors will find you when the time comes. 9. Most platforms, galleries and intermediaries may have goals that differ from yours. Find partners who love art more than money and work with them. Trust your intuition. 10. Utilize social media - it's a powerful tool. Network effects are real and can work wonders. Check out Sam Spratt for inspiration - his distribution models and social activity are great examples. 11. Avoid posting about your art sales figures - be proud of your art and your collectors - not what they paid. 12. Avoid competing with anyone. You’ve already won - it just takes time to realize it. 13. In reality you don't need anyone's recognition. Keep doing what you love - it's the only thing that matters. 14. Consider not enforcing royalties - make collectors want to send you royalties on their own. 15. Your intentions and goals do make a difference. Collectors can instinctively sense both passion and extraction with surprising accuracy. 16. If you’re not sure what to do - ask yourself: What would an artist I admire do if he were me? There are many reasons why the greats are appreciated - learn from them. 17. In art there is no pressure, no rush and no deadlines. Enjoy the experience and the journey to the fullest. Feel blessed as you are blessed. 18. Don’t be afraid to give - everything you give will come back to you tenfold. Study the origins of Punks and Lost Robbies for inspiration. 19. Consider becoming a collector of your own works. 20. When you achieve great success remember your roots and your journey. Stay humble and grateful. I dedicate these thoughts to all the wonderful artists who have so generously shared their hearts with me along the way. May you all be blessed to the fullest ❤️‍🔥

I think this is the most spectacular CryptoPunks sweep we've seen since 2022 - maybe even 2021? 76 punks were acquired within 5 hours for aprox. $13.5 million. Over 35 Squiggles were also acquired during the same period.

Updated version of "Top 100,000 NFT Rarity Tiers" is live ✨ After receiving an enormous amount of valuable feedback I am publishing ver. 2 with the following changes: * 25 new artists / collections added or updated based on repeatable feedback and open market data. * Total supply of the table increased from 103,000 to 109,500 (6%). * Two new positions added in the "LOL Rare" and "YHGTBKM" top rarity categories. * Improved readability of the table. It is worth mentioning that the table is primarily based on public market data (floor prices, recent sales, volume etc). Transparency and the availability of sales data were critical considerations during its preparation. While many more artists and collections could potentially be included I believe an additional broader "Rare" (1m) category would be necessary. Although this table is still a "work in progress" I do not anticipate major changes at this point. Detailed information about the newly added artists and collections can be found below 👇

Punks were a free claim in 2017. XCOPY gave away / sold dozens of their works for pennies in 2018. All Lost Robbies were gifted during an event in 2018. It wasn’t about wealth, fame or recognition. Intentions matter and they continue to shine through these artworks to this day.

The brutal pullback in the NFTs/crypto art space occurred because 99% of it was BS and people quickly realized that and left. Most never look deep enough. The meaningful 1% 🎨 that was overlooked is why some of us are still here - and it’s the reason this space will thrive.

I perceive @batsoupyum as a true gem of our space. Not only is his collection mind-blowing but he has also supported hundreds of artists along the way. His collection is his heart. He was among the first people I interviewed when I started my NFT collecting journey and I’ve always admired him greatly. It’s not just about conviction - it’s more than that. Some people are simply different... in a positive way. Bats is one of them: an irreplaceable part of the tokenized art/NFT world. It happened quite spontaneously that I approached Bats and asked about his Autoglyphs. I’d always wanted one but could never easily afford it. We discussed a few possibilities and at some point it struck me: Bats owns "$LAVE" 1/1 by @XCOPYART and I was fortunate to hold "$LAVE" #1/5 edition. Together they make a very unique set... and there are only a few collectors holding such stunning XCOPY "pairings". While "$LAVE" was never among the works I had considered letting go it just felt like I was meant to consider it. The thought of both the 1/1 and edition united excited me deeply. This post isn’t about the trade details - it’s about two crazy collectors connected by a love for great art. To cut a long story short it happened... and Bats is now the proud owner of the set. I’m extremely happy for him. I can only imagine the feeling. I'm ecstatic because I know he is. 🙏 P.S. He gifted me a CryptoDickbutt... 😅 and something very special. But that’s another story 🥰

As there is a lot of confusion and noise regarding the quantum demo presented by Google, I’ve made a summary ✅ of a space organized by @GillVerd (aka @beffjezos ) who is a Ph.D., has worked as the Quantum Algorithms Lead at Google X, and has a good understanding of blockchain and cryptography: ✅ What does this mean for Bitcoin? The timeline for cracking Bitcoin is optimistically about 15–20 years at this rate. You would need millions of physical qubits, but currently, we are at around 100. Four or five years ago, we were at 50. Doubling every five years provides plenty of time. ✅ The fidelity of the output is 0.1% (Google's quantum demo). We are still very far from reliable quantum computers, which would hopefully achieve 99%+ fidelity. ✅ The main bottleneck for scaling quantum computers is the need to detect and correct errors as they occur. If you're trying to perform billions of operations and things go wrong one time in a thousand, you're basically screwed. Your program will just crash - it’s like a blue screen of death. ✅ What Google demonstrated is a small benchmark that currently doesn't have practical applications. It's essentially a mathematical benchmark. ✅ There are not many applications for a presented chip as is. It's not breaking cryptography. It's demonstrating quantum chaos but it doesn't have specific applications. It's just a demonstration of the capabilities and the components. ✅ What you really need is to have a bunch of this chips networked together. They have a hundred of qubits and you need millions and millions of qubits to have even a virtual thousand qubit logical fault-tolerant quantum computer that doesn't have errors that you can do almost arbitrary length programs. Until then quantum computers for all we can predict are basically useless. ✅It's an impressive benchmark and a milestone. It's a minimum-viable milestone for this team. I wouldn't freak out. They have a good PR, obviously they are Google. ✅ For now they got to 100 qubit mark than they will have to scale up this chip massively even further maybe even too far for scale. ✅ From what I can tell, quantum applications still haven't found a way to use these extremely noisy quantum computers to do something useful. For now, it's still science demos. Full spaces link below 👇

1/ Today we have a very special guest. @phon_ro is a known @XCOPYART connoisseur. He acquired extremely rare "lost pieces" by X but also he is a part of @6529capital. NooNe0x kindly agreed to answer some questions so make yourself a nice coffee and let's go! 🧵👇

1/15 Today @thedoomedxyz closed its most epic deal 🤯since its inception in June 2023 👀 And to make it even more 'spicy' 🔥 the deal was made... with @XCOPYART himself 😱 Buckle up, as it's one ‘fresh hell’ of a story! 👇💀

One of my biggest collecting regrets was missing out on 'community ghost' acquired by @andrewjiang and @curatedxyz for 17 eth back in 2022. I was a minute too late and went through it for a few months. I couldn’t miss it for 7 eth in 2024 🥰 Welcome home 'community ghost' #3585!

All the events of the past few days have convinced me that the tokenized art corner of the crypto market is the most genuine, pure and beautiful thing to ever emerge here 🌺

Crypto art culture is counterculture. It challenges norms and the established order. Crypto degens seeking validation from trad art institutions are like btc maxis seeking validation from central banks. We don’t need validation - we are the validation.

For all these years @opensea was home to my art collections - a place where I could get lost for hours and admire. Now with v2 it's just... a marketplace without a soul. One of many out there. I hope this changes.

Exactly 1 year ago 🥳 the _overeXposed_ collection was established with the purchase of "Taxmen" 20/20, 2019 by @XCOPYART. One acquisition transformed into a passion with a goal to create the most diverse X collection in existence. Big TY❤️ to many frens I've met along the way!

If you're in your 30s or older - you remember the "old" world. Younger generations won't... they'll only see it online, unable to tell what's real from what's fake (AI). Blockchain timestamps will become so crucial. If you're a creator - start documenting on-chain.

Did you know that @punk6529 has released around 150 threads most of which are about NFTs and tokenized art? 🥰 I can't think of anyone who has contributed more to this space. Thank you 6529 for what you are doing! 🙏🫡

Most NFT buyers from 2021–2022 lacked understanding and expected immediate gains - the 2023–2025 cohort knows exactly what they’re buying and isn’t focused on any short-term rewards. Gambling vs collecting.

It's not an NFTs bull market yet. It's still smart money buying.

Punk holders are literally immortal - zero panic sales... After everything the market has been through since 2022 this is likely the most resilient group of crypto degens out there 🙌

The greatest investors and collectors have one common strength: they know how to 'do nothing' for a long period of time.
