Antisemitism in France remains at alarming levels. @SPCJFRANCE documented 1,320 antisemitic incidents in 2025, including 126 involving physical violence. This is beyond unacceptable. Jews in France make up less than 1% of the population, yet account for 53% of all religion-based hate crimes. We stand with the Jewish community in France and our J7 partner @Le_CRIF in the fight against antisemitism. spcj.org/antisemitisme/chiff…
Rabbi Birnbaum booked a summer house in France. What reportedly happened after the owners realized he was Jewish is unsettling... and a glimpse into some of the biases many Jews face today. "The prejudice we face today as Jews often presents itself in more subtle ways. It arrives wrapped in the language of human rights and social justice… It simply posits that all Jews must be regarded as suspect until they have proven their purity." The ADL Center on Extremism tracks and disrupts extremists across the ideological spectrum, and its experts conduct research on hate, harassment, and extremist activity that appears both online and offline. Each week, they share what they’re seeing and break down the patterns behind it in our Extremely™ newsletter. Stay informed about what’s happening and why it matters. About half of U.S. adults now use AI chatbots, according to @pewresearch. While these tools are incredibly powerful, they must be used critically and thoughtfully. Because they’re trained on datasets created by people, research shows they can still repeat extremist and hateful stereotypes. That’s where the ADL AI Index™ comes in. It’s an online tool that tests leading large language models (LLMs) on their ability to identify and counter antisemitic and extremist narratives. Each LLM receives an overall score, along with breakdowns across specific bias categories, to help you use them more critically and understand their limits. Check it out for yourself: adl.org/adl-ai-index

Thank you, @NYCMayor, for being clear and strong when the hate is a swastika. If it's "without exception," why can't you do the same when there are Hamas and Hezbollah flags in front of synagogues or chants to "Globalize the Intifada"? By the way, this also means you shouldn't invoke antisemitic tropes in speeches.
The swastika carved into a car on the Upper East Side is a despicable act of antisemitism. It is a hateful attack of intimidation on our Jewish neighbors and on the values that make our city what it is. I have full confidence the NYPD, which is investigating this as a hate crime, will do everything to ensure those responsible are held accountable. To every Jewish New Yorker: your city stands with you. We will confront acts of antisemitism wherever they appear with urgency and without exception.

Hezbollah is an internationally designated terrorist organization funded and supported by the Iranian regime. For decades, it has posed a direct threat to Israel, the Jewish people and the Western world while driving insecurity and instability in Lebanon. We hope today's initial agreement between Israel and Lebanon serves to build a foundation to bring a final end to Hezbollah's operations for the long-term benefit of the region and leads to an era of normalization between these two countries. We thank @SecRubio for facilitating this critical process.

Our partners at @DAIAArgentina released their 2025 Antisemitism Report yesterday, documenting 713 reported antisemitic incidents across Argentina. The findings underscore how antisemitism continues to spread and evolve — from online hate and AI-enabled abuse to increasing physical attacks. We stand with Argentina’s Jewish community and all those working to confront antisemitism through education, accountability and action.

It is appalling for Brooklyn Democratic party leader Carmella Charrington to promote vile antisemitic conspiracy theories and then double down when asked about it by a Jewish publication’s journalist, including saying “get your rabbi.” Such unacceptable behavior must be condemned; we are grateful that some in her own party have already spoken out — all must do so.
SCOOP—a new leader in the Brooklyn Democratic Party, elected in Tuesday's left-wing wave with help from DSA figures, promoted Henry Ford's infamous 'The International Jew' on social media, calling "the truth" and demanding it "better be the topic on the table"

1/ The alleged details in the Chico library shooting earlier this week point to a familiar and troubling pattern: prosecutors say the suspect was obsessed with mass shootings (especially Columbine), viewed mass shooting fan pages and uploaded a video to those spaces before his attack. 🧵 krcrtv.com/news/local/da-det…

4/ The "okay" gesture gained traction in TCC spaces after the 2024 Abundant Life shooter posted a photo flashing it on X shortly before her attack. Since then, the gesture has shown up in other TCC-linked attacks and online posts, underscoring its growing resonance in the subculture. adl.org/pathways-youth-viole…

A UN Commission of Inquiry released a lengthy report on children in armed conflict. It continues their pattern of broad, unfounded accusations against Israel, including its misapplied label of "genocide," while barely examining Hamas at all. Not one investigation into Hamas's use of children as fighters or human shields. Not one recommendation to Hamas on child protection. Individual acts by Israeli extremists, while unacceptable & in need of strong law enforcement response, are misattributed as state-directed policy These reports don't stay in UN meeting rooms. They reach classrooms, campuses and social media within hours, lending institutional authority to the accusation that Israel, and by extension Jews, are deliberate child killers. That has real consequences for Jewish safety worldwide.

Over 700 U.S. rabbis and cantors have signed a letter calling on Mayor Mamdani to apologize for his recent speech about pro-Israel civic participation, in which he referred to AIPAC as “monsters.” “Mr. Mamdani’s words invoke a familiar story about Jewish power, Jewish money and Jewish manipulation of public life…” and “when public figures treat “Zionists” as a uniquely suspect category of people, they are speaking about the overwhelming majority of the Jewish community.” As the mayor of the city with the largest Jewish population outside Israel, Mayor Mamdani’s words matter. And his remarks reflect a larger pattern emerging across the country and the world — singling out pro-Israel Jews as uniquely deserving of hostility. jewishmajority.org/open-lett…

In the Netherlands, online antisemitism has soared, according to new report by our Dutch partner @CIDI_nieuws .  Between 2021 and 2024, antisemitic posts on social media and in online forums doubled and the number of direct antisemitic threats against Jews went up 400%. Over a thousand threats against Jews were recorded in both 2023 and 2024. CIDI's findings confirm what ADL research has shown: too many online platforms are failing to enforce existing policies meant to keep users safe: adl.org/resources/article/el…
Vandaag presenteerde CIDI onderzoeksrapporten naar antisemitisme in de online omgeving in de jaren 2021 t/m 2024. Online antisemitisme in Nederland is verdubbeld, directe dreigingen tegen Joden zijn vervijfvoudigd: cidi.nl/persbericht-online-a…

I truly appreciate all of the efforts @ADL @ADL_NYNJ on behalf of the entire Jewish community! You did an excellent job capturing how it feels to live in NY today. It’s very sad…but so grateful for all of your support, advocacy and work on behalf of ALL of us! Thank you!
Our 2025 audit found New York was the hardest-hit state for antisemitism, with nearly three out of four incidents in the state happening in NYC. Antisemitic assaults went up 10%, and Orthodox Jews were targeted in 60% of them. Rivkie Feiner shares her experience as an Orthodox Jewish woman living in New York.

A Jewish student was subjected to persistent and escalating antisemitic harassment at a Colorado middle school, and the school failed to effectively stop it from continuing. So we took action. ADL filed a federal civil rights complaint against Boulder Valley School District. As @JGreenblattADL told @FoxNews: every teacher should be trained to reject antisemitism.

ADL strongly condemns the hateful rhetoric and antisemitic slurs targeting Rep. Alma Hernandez. Rhetoric demonizing Jews and Zionists is dangerous, it is wrong, and it has no place in America.
