Dalton Norris has been selected as a finalist for the 2020 Southwest Ohio That's My Boy- National Football Foundation Award! Dalton has received a $1200 scholarship as a finalist. The winner will be selected on February 22, 2020.

Dalton Norris, Ainsley Clark, Hannah Lippincott helped present the Fall Sports Update at the Board of Education meeting. They were also recognized by the BOE for being SWOC Athletes of the Year (Keifer Bell, also a SWOC Athlete of the Year, was unable to attend the meeting).

A Jack Kent Cooke Foundation 2023 Cooke College Scholar. This year’s recipients were chosen from a pool of more than 5,600 applicants nationwide, and she is 1 of 60 selected to receive up to $55K annually to a four year institution.
Seniors Hannah Lippincott and Kiefer Bell both qualified for the state Cross Country Meet and will run on Saturday representing Talawanda...Good Luck!!!

Talawanda School District will be CLOSED tomorrow, Tuesday February 16, 2021 due to a severe winter weather advisory and snow storm. All classes for both in person learning and remote learning programs are canceled. Stay safe everyone!
The Talawanda Board congratulates Mel Edwards, retired TSD teacher, in the recognition he has received in the form of a new scholarship (available this school year) for a THS student interested in education or music. Mel’s former MU football teammates developed the scholarship.

Talawanda will be on a 90 minute delay for tomorrow (Feb 7), with no early release. Please be aware that severe weather is predicted for the area, and TSD officials will reassess conditions tomorrow morning no later than 6am.
The Governor has extended remote/online education through the end of the year. The TSD Admins are meeting to finalize end of year activities and we will make the necessary announcements regarding each activity no later than Monday April 27, 2020.
