Apparently the Russian Navy is claiming that the 'Russian Warship' in question went and fucked itself. (As opposed to being shot by Ukraine, who conspicuously reported that they had shot it hours before Russia reported 'nothing to see here, just a fire in the ammunition area.')

So yes, my twitter account was compromised, and has been in the hands of some Brazilian script kiddie for the last month... (We do need to stop pretending SMS is a secure 2FA option. Can we please at least allow users to DISABLE this "feature"? Seems to ALWAYS be on as a backup.)

In Louisville like elsewhere, a lack of body camera footage serves the officers who elected to turn off their body cameras. We need laws that make the absence of body camera footage cause to doubt the accounting of the officer that made that choice.

Gosh, but without Laura Kuenssberg’s comedy gold trolling like ‘Gosh, can you believe Liz Truss is going to be PM’ how can we be expected to get through this?
It is. Liz definitely has a plan for making inflation worse. But at least Priti Patel is out as Home Secretary. Liz won’t have a gentler immigration policy but at least she’s not Braverman or some of the other candidates.
