How to create 3D-like clothing with just 3 layers!
The texture is clipped to the green mask (mask is 0% opacity) and the line on the edge is clipped to the texture, and glued to the green mask.

Technical rambling - To retain the art style of the face shadow while avoiding weird overlaps, I hired the amazing @choeurie do extra PSD separation/setup to separate the shadow outlines and inner fills. Then the 2 face shadow layers are clipped to the individual layers.
